Meet Our Staff
BRIAN HARTZ, DPT, OCS, CSCS (Physical Therapist) |
Brian attended Rider University an as undergraduate, obtaining a BS in Biology. He received his Master's of Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University and graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University. Brian was awarded the prestigious Benjamin Mannheimer award for excellence in orthopedic physical therapy during his graduate studies. He is also a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS).
Brian established HARTZ Physical Therapy in 2000 and has grown the practice to include three state of the art facilities in Lititz, Lancaster and Ephrata. Brian currently is available to see patients at our Lititz and Ephrata locations.
As a former Division I college swimmer, Brian has special interests in sports injury rehabilitation, specifically the shoulder. In addition, he speaks regularly about treatment before and after joint replacements.
Outside of work, Brian actively trains for sprint triathalons and distance swimming events and is currently training to swim over 12 miles around Key West in June. He also enjoys traveling with his wife, Amy and children Zach, Logan, and Maya. |

WAYNE MCKINLEY, PT, OCS (Physical Therapist) |
| Wayne joined the staff of HARTZ Physical Therapy in July of 2001. He received his B.S. in Physical Therapy from the University Of Pittsburgh School of Health Related Professions. Throughout his career, he has focused his continuing education on orthopedic Physical Therapy. In 2007, he became a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Wayne is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Associations.
Wayne has special interests in manual deep tissue techniques, shoulders, foot and ankle as well as cervical spine and TMJ. Wayne is available to see patients at our Lititz location and will begin hours in Ephrata in the spring.
When Wayne is not working at HARTZ Physical Therapy he enjoys spending time with his wife Linda, his family and friends, playing golf and doing home remodeling projects as well as music. |

HAYDEN MCDEVITT, DPT, OCS, CSCS (Physical Therapist) |
| Hayden joined the staff of HARTZ Physical Therapy in July of 2005. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Arcadia University, Glenside, PA. He also has Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arcadia University. Hayden is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Orthopedic Section and the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association. In addition, he is certified as a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. A firm believer in continuing education, he became a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2008.
Hayden's area of special interest include orthopedic and sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and injury prevention in the athletic population. Hayden is currently available to see patients at our Lancaster location.
Outside of the office, Hayden enjoys time with his wife, Sarah and son, Logan. He has also grown to enjoy running and is currently training for his first marathon. |

MEGAN CONKLIN, DPT (Physical Therapist) |
| Megan joined HARTZ Physical Therapy in February of 2007. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware, Newark, Delaware. She has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Associations.
Megan is certified in orthopedic manual therapy through the Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars. The Maitland philosophy is a hands-on approach, focused on the continual assessment and effective treatment of neuromusculoskeletal disorders. Megan has a special interest in working with the spine and helping patients conquer both acute and chronic neck and back pain. Megan is available to see patients at our Lititz location.
When not working at HARTZ, Megan enjoys participating in triathlons. She has completed 7 sprint triathlons and hopes to train for an Olympic length event next year. This year, Megan has been transitioning to barefoot running and would be happy to talk to anyone interested in learning more about it. |

DREW NESBITT, DPT (Physical Therapist) |
| Drew Nesbitt joined the staff of HARTZ Physical Therapy in March, 2010. He completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Arcadia University, Glenside, Pennsylvania and has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from East Stroudsburg University. Drew has been a member of the American and the PA Physical Therapy Associations since 2007.
Drew has multiple special interests including balance/vestibular and Temporomandibular joint disorders. Drew has studied under some of the leaders in both of these respected rehabilitation fields and is excited to bring his knowledge to Lancaster. Drew currently is available to see patients at both our Lititz and Lancaster offices.
As a former collegiate athlete and currently a competitive runner, Drew also enjoys helping endurance athletes recover from overuse injuries so that they can reach their peak potential.
When Drew is not treating patients at HARTZ PT, he enjoys spending time with his wife Amanda, hiking with his favorite four legged companion, riding his road bicycle, and running competitively for the Inside Track racing team. |

WENDY ENCK (Physical Therapy Assistant) |
| Wendy joined the staff of HARTZ Physical Therapy in 2001. She received a bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Towson University in Towson, MD. She also received an Associate degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant at Central Penn College in Summerdale, PA.
Wendy is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association. Wendy has special interest in aquatic physical therapy and is a member of the Aquatic Section of the APTA. In addition, Wendy was elected to be the Pennsylvania representative to the National PTA Caucus in 2007. She was also awarded the designation of Advanced Proficiency for Physical Therapist Assistants from the APTA.
Wendy enjoys being a PT Assistant and published an article in Physical Therapy Magazine about working in the field of physical therapy.
When Wendy is not working at HARTZ Physical Therapy, she enjoys traveling and going to the beach. In addition, Wendy has completed several distance swimming events and is currently training to swim over 12 miles around Key West in June. |

AMANDA HEFFLEFINGER (Physical Therapy Assistant) |
| Mandy joined the staff of HARTZ Physical Therapy in August, 2004. She earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Central Pennsylvania College. Mandy is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association. She was also awarded the designation of Advanced Proficiency for Physical Therapist Assistants from the APTA.
When Mandy is not working at HARTZ Physical Therapy, she enjoys working out, landscaping and spending time with her family in the mountains.

ALICIA GINGERICH (Physical Therapy Assistant) |
| Alicia joined the staff of HARTZ Physical Therapy in April, 2010. She earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Central Pennsylvania College. Alicia is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
When Alicia is not working at HARTZ Physical Therapy, she enjoys working out, playing sports, going to the beach and spending time with her family and friends.

KELLY PYLE (Physical Therapy Aide) |
| Kelly joined the staff of HARTZ Physical Therapy in November, 2001. She received her B.S. degree in Exercise Science from the University of Delaware. This degree has been helpful in her job at HARTZ PT because she is knowledgeable about proper rehabilitation techniques and can effectively assist her team in the rehabilitation of patients.
When not working at HARTZ Physical Therapy, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike and daughters, Katie and Lauren and family and friends. She also enjoys going to the beach, all outdoor activities and sports.

CINDY JENKINS (Transcriptionist and Physical Therapy Aide) |
| Cindy joined the staff of HARTZ Physical Therapy in March of 2002. She received her B.S. in Athletic Training from West Chester University. Cindy is a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association. Cindy's area of special interest is in injury prevention in middle and high school athletes. Cindy is also a part of our ONE Sports Performance programs during the summer.
When Cindy is not working at HARTZ Physical Therapy, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Chad and her children, family and friends. She also enjoys reading, running and swimming. |

JONATHAN GOOD (Physical Therapy Aide) |
Jon attended Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina and received his B.S. degree in Sports Management in May of 2008. He is currently working at HARTZ Physical Therapy as an aide. Jon also spearheads our ONE Sports Performance program.
Jon's special interest is helping high school and college athletes enhance their performance on the field. Jon enjoys working in physical therapy because he enjoys interacting and helping patients, while learning about various rehabilitation techniques.
When Jon isn't working at HARTZ PT, he works part-time as a personal trainer. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, working out, catching up with friends, and just relaxing. |

BEN ADAMS (Physical Therapy Aide) |
| Ben Adams attended West Chester University in the spring of 2011 and received a B.S. degree in exercise science. He will be continuing his education in the fall of 2012 at Arcadia University where he will be studying physical therapy. Ben has a passion for physical therapy and enjoys being a part of the rehabilitation process.
When Ben is not working at HARTZ PT, he enjoys working out, cycling, and spending time with his family and friends. |

KRISTIN CHESTER (Physical Therapy Aide) |
Kristin is a recent graduate of West Chester University where she received her B.S. degree in Athletic Training. She is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. This has prepared her to work at HARTZ Physical Therapy because she understands the rehabilitation process of injured people. In the future, she has plans to continue her education and return to school to become a Physical Therapist.
When not working at HARTZ Physical Therapy, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves being outside, boating, working out, playing sports, specifically ice hockey and playing with her dog. |

AARON BRUSTAD (Medically Adapted Gym) |
| Aaron attended West Chester University and received a B.S. Degree in Exercise Science as a Physical Fitness Specialist. He is currently working at HARTZ PT as our Director of the Medically Adapted Gym (MAG). Aaron also assists with our ONE sports performance program.
Aaron enjoys working at the MAG because of the interaction with clients and helping them acheive their goals in a safe and effective way. When Aaron is not working, he enjoys spending time with friends, going to car shows, working out, and participating in various sports such as hockey, basketball, and soccer. |

GINNY WEAVER (Office Manager) |
| Ginny has been with HARTZ Physical Therapy since June 2000. She is an LPN, graduating from Lancaster School of Practical Nursing, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Ginny serves on the Board of Lancaster Practice Managers Association as Executive Vice President. She is also a member of the Lancaster Chamber's Workmen Compensation Group.
She has special interest in marketing, and making the community aware of Direct Access to physical therapy. She also regularly attends training so that she can stay current with insurance billing changes, office policy and procedures as well as day to day operation of HARTZ Physical Therapy.
When Ginny is not working at HARTZ Physical Therapy, she enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. |

LYNNE ZANOWSKI (Marketing) |
| Lynne joined HARTZ Physical Therapy in June, 2010. In her role as Marketing Director, she is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing programs and strategies, with a focus on building referral relations.
Lynne brings to HARTZ plenty of sales and marketing experience in the healthcare arena. She most recently held the position of Community Health Educator for Penn State Children's Hospital, where she was responsible for developing local and regional participation in a branded health promotion campaign. Prior to that, she has enjoyed success selling consumer and pharmaceutical products for major corporations.
An active community member, Lynne sits on the Advisory Board for Aaron's Acres and for the Penn State Cooperative Extension. She's also involved with annual fundraising activities for numerous non-profit organizations.
Outside of work, Lynne can be found teaching fitness classes at Gold's Gym in Lancaster or spending time with her husband, Peter and two kids, Ben and Mary. |

DEB REINHART (Billing) |
| Deb joined the staff of HARTZ Physical Therapy in January, 2003. She works in billing and thoroughly enjoys the challenges it brings. To keep updated in her specialty, she attends billing courses and insurance meetings, as well as the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association meetings and annual conferences.
When she is not working at HARTZ Physical Therapy, Deb enjoys biking and dining out with her husband, Rick. She also enjoys working out, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Jen joined the staff of HARTZ Physical Therapy in January of 2011 as one of our Lititz office receptionists. Jen enjoys enjoys her job because it allows her to interact with patients as they journey to healing.
When Jen is not working at HARTZ Physical Therapy, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys. |

PAT MCGEE (Receptionist) |
| Pat joined the staff of HARTZ Physical Therapy in July of 2007 as our Lancaster office receptionist. She received her B.S. in Business Administration from Millersville University. She is a Registered Radiological Technologist from St. Joseph Hospital School of Radiological Technology.
When Pat is not working at HARTZ Physical Therapy, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike and her family.

KATHLEEN BURGER (Receptionist) |
| Kathleen joined the staff of Hartz Physical Therapy in August of 2009 as one of our Lititz office receptionists. She has 16 years employment experience working with all phases of medical office work. This experience has been helpful with her current front desk responsibilities. She enjoys interacting with patients and tries to help make their visit to HARTZ PT a pleasant experience.
When Kathleen isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, her family and friends, walking with her neighbors, traveling, cooking and reading.

AMY HARTZ (Accountant) |
| Amy joined the staff of Hartz Physical Therapy in June, 2000 and is responsible primarily for the financial aspects of the business, although she has been known to dabble in advertising and website editing for HARTZ Physical Therapy as well.
Amy graduated from Rider University with a BS in Accounting in 1997 and an MBA in 1998. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
While not working on finances, Amy enjoys running, photography and spending time with her husband, Brian and their three children, Zach, Logan and Maya. |
